Conga Head Sizes by Latin Percussion
Conga Drum Sizes
Conga Head Sizes: Congas head typically comes in three sizes, however LP Music makes additional sizes for special congas.
The standard three sizes are called, Quinto (small), Conga (middle) Tumbadora (aka Tumba, large).
The LP Palladium Series (congas in photograph above) has a Super-tumba size. The Super-tumba has a 14 inch head.
LP Galaxy congas, LP Tribal Accent, LP Armando Perazo congas has a Requinto size. The Requinto is 9.75 inch.
There are some other variations in conga head size too. The variations and regular sizes are listed below.
